next art piece

On one of my summer vacations back home I encountered an amazing expo at my Uncle's restaurant Ophelia. It was a show on manta rays in all different kinds of materials. The artist Hector Herrera is a friend of the family and has done several shows in the restaurant. I went back in February to a new show which was about portraits, he did a portrait of each of my uncle's sons Mateo and Nicolas and I was incredibly impressed. I knew he was an amazing artist but those pieces took my heart!

I'll post pics of them when I get home, my uncle has them at his house and my grandmother has a ray piece as well!

I am definitely saving up for one of his pieces!

sorry, no look of the day today because I'm super hungover, have been working for the past 10 hours and I want to go home and eat like 45 mole quesadillas and sleep! 

#2 Due to the hangover: I wore casual stuff today, a grey Target boyfriend tee, black skinny RVCA jeans, macbeth sneakers. no jewelry, hair=mess, makeup=sloppy.

FYI: don't drink until 5am and expect to be F-R-E-S-H for work. ugh.

bang envy

I have serious bang envy! my face is too round to make these bangs look adorable on me. I've tried a couple of times because I get bang fever but then end up wearing a braid for 2 months!

-2 week notice- look of the day

we just sold our couch and my car! I gave my 2 weeks notice at work and by June 15th we should be back in our lovely Ensenada.

This is the outfit I wore when I quit my last job in Cabo.

I lined my whole eye with black eyeliner and added 3 coats of mascara. Kept the eye simple.

I wanted a sweet flushed look so I added NARS blush in Orgasm which I rarely wear because I love it so much ( its a special ocassion blush ) and MAC lipglass in Underage.

today's Refinery 29 newsletter was about outfits under $50 bucks and I loved this one. It totally looks like my style and HUGE PLUS, it's under $50 bucks and it's from goodwill! you're making yourself look nice and you're helping someonw along the way.

-mole- look of the day

Does everyone know that today is my day off?!?! lazy lazy lazy all day

I did some shopping and came back to show furniture to some potential buyers. This moving process is a bitch.

 I wore something comfy and i felt really girly in it, which is weird for me.

I went with a smokey eyes in green tones today, I used MAC eyeshadow in Humid for the darker tone and MAC eyeshadow in Swimming for the lighter tones. 3 coats of mascara and chapstick.

As for my hair, I did a Lauren Conrad signature braid. Left the rest of my hair to air dry productless.

P.S: My hubbie made tostadas de pollo en mole. 

they had beans and chicken and sour cream and onion and rice and YUMMY!
