hi, my name is toya and i'm addicted to lashes.

So, they should have a group therapy for eyelash addiction anonymous. I am the type of girl that believes a simple stroke of mascara can change your whole look. ( maybe blush as well but always mascara ) You can change your everyday look to a going out look by simply smudging your eyes a bit to make them smokier and applying 2 extra coats of mascara and you're off to have a blast

The thing is, finding the right mascara can be a pain in the butt. I naturally have a decent amount of lashes with a decent curl and a decent length. But could definitely use some more drama in my life. I have tried many, many mascaras ranging from super cheap mascaras with all kinds of oils to super expensive mascaras with precise jobs to do on my lashes and never was completely satisfied.

My father recently gave me a Lancôme perfume that came with a tiny lip gloss and a tiny mascara. The prefume wasn't my type and I don't think I'm going to use it anytime soon. But one day I was caught without mascara and decided to try the little bugger. I AM IN LOVE.

I present you Lancôme's HYPNÔSE DRAMA WATERPROOF.
And that says it all. ENJOY.

I have a few tricks up my sleeve which I've read here and there to make my lashes to their fullest.
Numero 1. Curl your lashes with a Shu Uemura eyelash curler. Trust Me, it's worth the splurge. Twice on each eye, 1st time at the roots - 2nd time at the middle
Numero 2. Apply a coat of mascara to the tips of your lashes to make them longer. Wait a few seconds.
Numero 3. Apply the second coat of mascara as close to the roots as you can, if you smudge a little it's ok. This way you won't have to use eyeliner on your top lid. Do your bottom lashes as well for an extra oomph!
Numero 4. Blow dry your lashes (from a safe distance – I put the blow dryer around my waist and blow dry upward )
Numero 5. Apply a second full coat of mascara. And you are done.

BTW: If mascara is not enough, please try feather extensions. I can't get enough of them.

It doesn't have to be an ubber special event to wear them. You are your own stylist.

always a pleasure, T.
